PLEASE CATCH ME!
Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) detainee Mas Selamat Kastari escaped from a Singapore
detention centre on Wednesday.
A statement from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) says Mas Selamat
escaped from the Whitley Road Detention Centre at 4:05pm.
Mas Selamat was the leader of the Singapore JI network.
MHA says he walks with a limp and is presently
at large. He is not known to be armed. Extensive police
resources have been deployed to track him down.
Anyone with information about him can contact the police at 999.
Mas Selamat was arrested by the Indonesian police on Bintan island in
January 2006 and then sent back to Singapore. He was wanted by Singapore
authorities in connection with planned attacks on Changi airport.

speculation:
how can a limping high profile criminal escape??
assuming all precaution are taken, assuming all personnel involved are properly trained, assuming they carried out their duties as usu.,
assuming they have sense to run after the escapee....
the assumption is... this is simply not a normal escape, insider job? highly doubtful...
my speculation is: an armed rescue mission, skillfully crafted by his followers, guided by him over the years in detention...
